Services

	●	I visit your pet once or twice daily, and take care of him just as you would, feeding him, taking him for a walk, playing with him and so on. Each visit lasts for approx. 1 hour, with a 500 yen surcharge for every 30 minutes thereafter.
	●	I make detailed observations about each visit in your “Pet Diary”.
	●	When you are at home, I can also walk your dog, for approx. 30 minutes at a time. Brushing also performed gratis.
	●	Your privacy is of course my no. 1 priority.
	●	I respond to what your pet wants and needs. Please discuss your pet’s particular needs prior to the sitting.
	●	Plant-watering and mail collection also performed free of charge. Don’t be afraid to ask!

	A typical sitting session

	For a dog

	Walking
	I take your dog for a walk along the same route that you normally take. Of course, I make sure he does his business along the way! Upon registration, I walk with the owner to determine the route. Please be aware that I may be unable to cope with very powerful dogs, or those that do not take to me, no matter what.

	Feeding
	Please ready a supply of the dog’s regular food. I will administer any medication he may be taking at the time.

	Toilet
	For dogs kept indoors, I will clean up after him, and dispose of his doings. Any hair or sand scattered by the dog will be cleaned up.

	For a cat

	Feeding
	Please ready a supply of the dog’s regular food. I will administer any medication he may be taking at the time.

	Toilet
	For dogs kept indoors, I will clean up after him, and dispose of his doings. Any hair or sand scattered by the dog will be cleaned up.

	Exercise/Playtime
	I will play with the cat and any toys he has. Please ready these if available. For shy cats, I will observe how they are without causing them undue stress.

	Small animals

	Toilet
	I will clean up any droppings in the cage, and scrub the cage. Please describe their normal droppings in advance.

	Exercise/Playtime
	Please tell me in advance if you wish me to allow the pets out of their cage for light play with toys.

	How to proceed

	Once you decide what days you will require my services, feel free to contact me at any time by phone, FAX or e-mail.

	Making an appointment to discuss your needs
	After you get in touch, we decide upon a date for us to meet (including your pet or pets). You pay nothing at this stage. I will ask you for details of your pet’s everyday activities, how it eats, how to prepare its food, how to take care of its toilet, its likes and dislikes, and its health. For dogs to be walked, I accompany you along the route you normally walk the dog. If the date of the sitting is close at hand, please have a spare key ready.

	On the day of the sitting
	I check the pet’s health (appetite, its doings etc.), and record this in the Pet Diary, along with my impressions of its behavior when walking, playing etc.

	Payment, return of key
	You can choose to pay in advance or afterward, either in cash . I will return your key to you either directly, or deposit in a place of your choosing (locked post box etc.).
